Melbourne band The Stillsons returned to Adelaide in late December 2012 in their duo format – Justin Bernasconi and Cat Canteri (both guitar and vocals). One of the gigs was at the Wheatsheaf Hotel on Dec 22, and Justin & Cat kindly agreed to be the first act to be recorded live for the Roots & Branches blog. Here are four songs that show a) the diversity of their styles around the folk / country / blues / roots musical axis, and b) that a duo can make a goodly amount of noise when they choose to!
