In his first musical life in the 1970s, Australian singer/songwriter Glenn Cardier released a number of highly regarded LPs, played at the Sunbury festival, lived in the UK for a while, toured Australia with Spike Milligan and Frank Zappa (separately) and even appeared on the B-side of the #1 hit C’mon Aussie C’mon (as Sidney Hill). No wonder he took a couple of decades or so off. Come the 2000’s, Glenn began regularly recording and touring again, with a renewed passion and equivalent amount of musical agility and lyrical depth – ranging anywhere from acerbic to heartfelt to all shades of emotive.
On May 13 2007, he played at the Trinity Sessions outside Adelaide, on a triple bill with Phil Manning and Ross Ryan. This track is Glenn Cardier solo at that gig, with a song from his ‘House Of Mirrors’ CD.
