One of the many highlights of WOMADelaide 2013 will be Seth Lakeman, visiting from the UK, playing at the festival for the first time under his own name.  A general Wikipedia search will tell you he is “an English folk singer, songwriter, and multi-instrumentalist, who is most often associated with the fiddle and tenor guitar, but also plays the viola and banjo.”  But a lot more, including his thoughts on the violin, music itself and the joys of a WOMAD festival can be heard in this interview with Michael Hunter, conducted over the phone on December 6 2012.
