Adelaide singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist RAY SMITH has been performing for, let’s say, many years in bands such as Scafell Pike and Sympathy Orchestra, and alongside artists such as Eric Bogle and Frank Yamma. He now has a Pozible campaign running to record his first album of original material.
As he says, “I am not getting any younger even though I look it and it has been pointed out to me several times that I should record some of my originals before dying, (slightly). This will be the first in a series of four CDs documenting my work over the last thirty years and will feature many of the musicians I have performed with during that time. This first CD, “Trout and Toolbox” will be toured through the UK in July/August 2016.”
Ray will be on the show on, tentatively, May 19 for a chat about it all.
