R&Bs this week

As previewed last week, feature rarity is “Acoustic Quartet”, the 2006 CD by JACKY MOLARD.   Jacky Molard is a Breton jackymollardmusician and a well-known figure in traditional Breton music.  He plays fiddle, guitar and bass. He is also a composer and producer. Jacky created the “Innacor” Breton/World music label in 2005 along with Erik Marchand and Bertrand Dupont.  This music has elements of folk, jazz, world and avant garde – quite intriguing, in other words.

Also some real obscurities; one from a late 70’s Australian band no-one seems to know anything about – another a very rare track featuring a couple of major figures in English folk rock.

Some new Adelaide and/or Australian music.  Also, whatever new delights are held in the station library.  We shall see.  Actually, it’s radio.  We shall hear.
